Your Stay at the Château

Eating and Drinking
The Château’s

kitchen is based on the traditional French family-cuisine, where quality and taste come first and healthy and fresh products are a natural choice.

Breakfast

For breakfast we offer a variety of choices, with fresh baguettes, croissants or cakes, cereals, ham or patés, homemade marmelades and fresh fruits from the garden.

Dining

There are excellent local restaurants nearby, from simple and good to the shining stars of Michelin.
We will be most happy to advise you.

Dinner at the Château is possible on several days of the week in the form of table d’hôtes. On other evenings there is the possibility of a cold dish.
Vegetables play an essential role in our menus, but a strictly vegetarian or vegan menu is also possible.

Enjoying the Castle Gardens

The large gardens (40 acres) are there to enjoy for our guests.

Also the castle gardens are filled with history and serenity with many spectacular centuries old old trees.
Sit down and relax on the edge of the lake or have a walk in the woodland gardens with their cool atmosphere on warm days.
Enjoy the ancient walled garden, with its wells and granite water basins.
Relax and enjoy a drink in the large flower garden with its patches of wildflower meadows and paths of short mown grass.
Take a stroll in the orchard and the secluded kitchen-garden, with its herbs, tomatoes and vegetables.
Throughout the gardens you will find spaces to sit and relax.

A wooden Cabane in the woodland garden offers materials for games, such as croquet, to be played on the bordering lawn.
An old stone pavilion in the romantic flower garden has materials which you are free to use to make drawings or paintings.
